Getting to the Festival is the trickiest part of the day. If your dragon is in the shop and your apparating skills are rusty, you'll be parking a vehicle.
If still available, we highly recommend prepurchasing onsite parking for convenience. Pre-sales end on Wednesday, May 14. $10 is not much to pay for the ability to be close by!
Day-of onsite parking will be $20 at the gate, when available.
Carpool
Get your friends and pack them, clown-style, into your car. The more the merrier.
You may drive right up to the park, drop off all your riders, then proceed to remote parking. This is the way.
Read Carefully
- If you are dropping off riders, you will enter the park from Eastview Dr. This is the road that runs between the QT and CVS.
- It is crucial that we keep this convoy trucking, so have everyone gather their things while you approach the park and be ready to be ejected.
- When you arrive at the park, let the gate agent know you are dropping off.
- When you reach the dropoff point, unload as quickly as you can- get that stroller, hoist that bag with your picnic blanket in it, gather any stray children and get over to the sidewalk.
- If you are dropping off someone with mobility issues, you may pull in behind the stage and use one of the two ADA spots there to unload.
- Proceed down Church St to Lake Murray and head for remote parking.
Proceed to Remote Parking
- We have 3 remote parking lots on Saturday.
- Union United Methodist Church
- Irmo Wellness Center
- Green Charter School
- We have 2 remote parking lots on Sunday
- Irmo Wellness Center
- Green Charter School
Word to the Wise
The residents of Old Friarsgate guard their fortresses well and have tow trucks on speed dial.
Do not park in the neighborhood around the park. That would be an expensive mistake.
