Festival Content Creator Program

Your next adventure deserves a little magic!

Do you love Renaissance fairs, fantasy fashion, cosplay, storytelling, or discovering extraordinary experiences? We'd love to meet you!

Festival at the Friars' Gate welcomes content creators, photographers, videographers, bloggers, and social media personalities who share our passion for creativity, imagination, and adventure.

Our free-admission Renaissance and fantasy festival brings together colorful characters, talented performers, unique artisans, and thousands of visitors for a weekend of merriment and magic in Irmo, South Carolina, just outside of Columbia.

Whether you create elaborate costumes, document family adventures, explore local attractions, or simply love sharing beautiful and unusual experiences, there may be a place for you at Friars' Gate!

Ways to Collaborate

Invited Creator Guests

We occasionally invite creators to experience the Festival as our special guests. Depending on availability, hosted visits may include reserved parking, hospitality, and opportunities to meet performers, artisans, and other festival participants.

Come dressed to impress, explore the festivities, and enjoy the experience! There are no posting requirements for invited guests unless we have specifically agreed otherwise.

Content Creator Collaborations

Are you interested in producing videos, reels, photographs, reviews, or other content featuring Friars' Gate?

We welcome creative collaboration proposals! Depending on the project, arrangements may include hosted experiences, special access, hospitality, or other mutually agreed benefits.

Photography & Videography

We're always interested in connecting with talented photographers and videographers who enjoy capturing the color, costumes, characters, and excitement of a Renaissance festival.

We welcome proposals for both creative collaborations and commissioned projects. Content deliverables and usage permissions are arranged individually.

Who Should Apply?

We welcome creators of all sizes and backgrounds, particularly those interested in:

• Renaissance festivals, fantasy, and medieval culture

• Cosplay, costuming, fashion, and historical clothing

• Travel, tourism, and regional attractions

• Family adventures and entertainment

• Food, crafts, and artisan experiences

You don't need a huge following to make an impression! We're interested in originality, creativity, enthusiasm, and authentic connections with your audience.
