PLEASE NOTE:

  • Exhibits must be delivered in person. Mailed or shipped exhibits will not be accepted.
  • Entries will not be accepted outside this schedule.
  • Exhibits may be moved by festival staff if necessary
  • Unclaimed exhibits become the property of the Festival at the Friars' Gate and will be disposed of or donated to charity.

RULES & REGULATIONS

The Festival at the Friars' Gate rules and regulations in this guide shall apply.

As an exhibitor in the Festival at the Friars' Gate, you agree to the following:

  • I have reviewed and agree to abide by the rules and regulations set forth in the online 2027 Festival at the Friars' Gate Exhibitor Guide.
  • Upon delivery of my entry, I acknowledge that others will be using said facilities and premises at the same time and that the Festival at the Friars' Gate is not responsible for the acts, property, equipment and animals of others or the acts or products of any concessionaire.
  • I agree that photos of exhibits taken by official festival representatives may be used on the Festival at the Friars' Gate website and social media outlets, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.
  • I acknowledge that the Festival at the Friars' Gate and all of its representatives are not responsible for any loss, injury, illness, or damage to any exhibit articles and that such understanding and agreement is a condition of my entry or exhibit.
  • Further, I agree to and hereby indemnify the Festival at the Friars' Gate from any loss, injury, damage or claim of any third person caused by any animal, exhibit, entry or property of mine or any act of anyone or mine acting on my behalf.

ONLINE ENTRY REGISTRATION

  • Online entry registration is the only method for registering entries.
  • Online entry registrations are confirmed at time of submission.
  • Please print/save and bring your confirmation on delivery day. 
  • Registrations may be closed when we reach display limits

LIMITATIONS

  • Exhibitors may register one (1) entry .
  • All entries not in accordance with the schedule will be disqualified.

ENTRY TAGS

  • Entry tags will be provided at the time of delivery of exhibit(s) to the festival. 

JUDGING

Judging is closed to the public. No person will be allowed in the show area during judging except the Festival at the Friars' Gate staff and specified judging committee. All decisions are final.

CARE OF EXHIBITS DURING FAIR

  • The Flower Superintendent and Festival Committee reserves the right to maintain all exhibits in show condition.
  • This is an outdoor festival. Exhibits will be in a covered area but heat, humidity, rain and wind are all possible and out of the Festival's control.
  • Although reasonable care will be taken with each exhibit, fair management will not be responsible for containers or other properties.
  • Overnight security will check on the exhibit areas as needed.
  • Exhibits may be moved by fair staff as needed.

RELEASE OF EXHIBITS

The Festival at the Friars' Gate will not be responsible for exhibits or ribbons left after the scheduled release date and time. Unclaimed exhibits and any other items will become the property of the Festival at the Friars' Gare and will be either disposed of or donated to charity


FAIRY GARDEN CONTEST

Delivery Date: Friday, May 21 between 4PM-8PM

Awards:

Rosettes

Premiums: 1st - $30, 2nd - $20, 3rd - $10

Rules:

• There is no size limitation, but the exhibitor must be able to carry the container into the park without any assistance.

• Artificial plants are allowed. We encourage the use of natural materials, fresh or dried. 

• Fairy Garden must contain at least one (1) Fairy (fantasy figures, gnomes, etc.).

• We encourage the use of natural, found, recycled, or repurposed items. Material examples include strings, twine, glue, stones, pebbles, sticks, leaves, tree bark, pinecones, acorns, feathers, seaweed, dried grasses, moss, nuts, shells and much more. Plants and accessories may be obtained from any source. 

• Construction Notes: Create a strong base/platform for easy transportation. 

• Fairy Gardens that fit will be placed on tables for display. Displays too large for tables will be placed on the ground. You may bring your own display base if you prefer.
